This study is entitled “Social Construction of Religious Tolerance in the Digital Era in the Village Community of Nusa Jaya, Belitang III District, Ogan Komering Ulu Timur Regency”. The purpose of this study is to determine the social construction of religious tolerance and its implications for the people of Nusa Jaya Village in the Digital Era. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques namely, observation, interviews and documentation. This study was analyzed using the social construct theory proposed by Peter L. Berger (1966). The results of the study found that in externalization, individuals have limited knowledge about tolerance so that they can adapt in the community. The moment of objectivation, the individual has an understanding that tolerance is a reality that is continuously constructed and institutionalized by the community. And at the moment of internalization, the individual accepts the reality that he understands and is always attached to. Furthermore, from this construction, there are forms of tolerance, namely, splices, security guarding places of worship, kenduren, traditions of collective prayer, and holiday celebrations. In addition, it was found that there were implications of religious tolerance, namely a sense of security and peace, strengthening social solidarity, and strengthening brotherhood ties. Keywords: Social Construction; Tolerance; Digital Era
