In this study there are two research problems, namely the unfair trade in the RCEP mentioned previously and the lack of transparency of information regarding the development of RCEP, both in Indonesia and other RCEP member countries. This non-transparency tribulated IGJ to advocate fair trade in RCEP. Therefore, this study aims to find out how IGJ's strategy in advocating fair trade at RCEP is. The concept used is the role of NGOs in international politics by Shamima Ahmed and David M. Potter. Then, the research method used is an exploratory qualitative research method. The results of this study indicates that the strategies adopted by IGJ in advocating fair trade at RCEP are of various kinds. First, advocacy and lobbying, IGJ conducts information politics by publishing critical notes, press releases, and spreading campaigns on social media and also leverage politics by building domestic and foreign networks. In addition, in the advocacy process, IGJ also conducts litigation advocacy in the form of judicial review of Law 24/2000 on International Treaties to the Constitutional Court and non-litigation advocacy by lobbying the parlemen for discussing about RCEP issues. Second, public education and consciousness raising which is carried out by conducting campaigns, public discussions, and taking action on the regional and regional level. Campaign activities are usually carried out through social media by Instagram. Third, agenda setting, IGJ and the MKE coalition suggest the government undertakes a comprehensive human rights impact assessment at the time the agreement is negotiated, before the agreement is ratified, and after the agreement is implemented. Fourth, setting the agenda in the global decision making arena, where IGJ participates with other NGOs and INGOs meetings within responding and lobbying RCEP negotiators to be more transparent and convey some of their critical notes.
