This study aims to analyze the development strategy of Burai Ecotourism in improving the economy of the community in Burai village using SWOT analysis. This study adopts a qualitative approach that aims to identify and describe, as well as assess how the development strategy of Burai Ecotourism (Bu Eko) in improving the economy of the community in Burai Village. The data analysis technique used in this study is an interactive analysis of the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that the development of Burai Village tourism objects had an indirect impact on people's lives in Burai Village, especially the economic impact. This impact is a result of the participation of all elements of society to develop Burai village tourism objects seen from internal factors that are quite good but there are still several factors that must be improved, such as the accessibility of facilities and infrastructure. Then for external factors, it is also quite good in terms of social and economic aspects, the surrounding community still maintains the authenticity of traditions and culture and is friendly so that it becomes a certain characteristic of the village of Burai itself. Findings regarding the economic condition of the community are greatly helped and improved due to the existence of this ecotourism burai village. However, public education about technology is still very much needed. The results of this study recommend that the government, especially Ogan Ilir Regency, pay more attention to aspects that become obstacles in the development of Burai Ecotourism such as improving infrastructure and educating the community effectively to innovate in developing Burai village.
