This study aims to determine how the process of forming the image of the Youth and Sports Office of South Sumatra Province through the Pepelingasih program (Youth Youth Cares for a Beautiful and Clean Environment). This research use desciptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation collection as well as collecting visual evidence. The findings of this study are that the South Sumatra Provincial Youth and Sports Service has succeeded in building a much better image with the Pepelingasih program, with the existence of Pepelingasih, the people of South Sumatra can know that in fact the South Sumatra Province Youth and Sports Service is not only engaged in sports. Not only that, but the Department of Youth and Sports of the Province of South Sumatra also focuses on youth and the environment. The theory used in this research is the theory of image formation from Ropingi El Ishaq by using four dimensions including identity, organizational management, communication patterns, and the last is product/service quality.
