PENGARUH PEMBERIAN ASAP CAIR TERHADAP PRODUKSI RUMPUT RAJA (Pennisetum purpuphoides)
The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of liquid smoke on the production of king grass (Pennisetum purpuphoides). The research was conducted in the 4 months ffom November 2012-March 2013 at the Experimental Station of the Livestock Departement Faculty of Agriculture Sriwijaya University Indralaya Ogan Ilir, South Sumatra. The experiment was arranged a Block Randomized Design with 5 treatment and each treatment consisted of 3 block as replicates. The treatment used was the provision of liquid smoke that Aq= 0% , Ai= 2% of liquid smoke, A2 = 4% of liquid smoke, A3= 6% of liquid smoke, A4= 8% of liquid smoke. Parameters observed were fresh weight production and dry weight production of king grass. The result showed that give of liquid smoke no signifFicant the fresh weight of production and dry weight of production. Production was highest the fresh weight of king grass on the Ai treatment 1.446.11 g/clump and dry weight of king grass on the Ai treatment 1.113,09 g/clump. The conclusion of this research was the effect liquid smoke no significant to fresh weight production and dry weight production of king grass, but the view gived liquid smoke dose of 2% there is tendency to increase production of king The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of liquid smoke on the production of king grass (Pennisetum purpuphoides).
