This study aims to determine the extent of the application of the principle of transparency in the use of village funds in Talang Jaya Village, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. The background of this research is the lack of information about the use of village funds. The type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniquesused are observation, interviews and literature study. In this study, researcher have conducted unstructured interviews. The inverview guide is in the form of an outline of the problem to be asked. Secondary data was obtained through literature study by reading, citing books, magazine, and literature related to the research subject. The results of this study indicate that the transparency of the village funds budget in Talang jaya Village cannot be said to be running optimally. This because of the five dimension according to Sopanah and Masrdiasmo,namely: There are budget policy announcements, Budget documents available and easily access, timely accountability report available, People’s voices/suggestions are accomodated and There is an information provision system, from some of these dimensions there are still shortcoming that must be repaired again. The dimension of available budget document and being easily accessible still have shortcoming,that is the official Talang Jaya Village Account seen as still not providing information about the details of the implementation of activities using village funds. As a suggestion in this research, in terms of providing an official account for Talang Jaya Village which will later serve an access media for the public, it is better to look more active in terms of providing information on the implementation of village activities, village fund information and also village fund accountability report.
