Human rights are basic rights regarding human life, reinforced by the international recognition of these basic rights since 1948. Over time, there have been problems, for example those experienced by the Farmers group. The conception of international development based on neoliberal capitalism results in discrimination and land grabbing which is often experienced by farmers, this situation makes farmers an oppressed group. These human rights are still universal, so that more specific human rights instruments are needed regarding the related rights. La Via Campesina is here to then fight for the rights of the Farmers, so that the rights of the Farmers get international recognition so that they become instruments of human rights. So in this study, we will look at how La Via Campesina struggles in promoting Peasant Rights at the United Nations through the concept of global social movement by looking at the specifications on the demands of the La Via Campesina struggle, the arena of struggle, and also the tactical steps taken by La Via Campesina. From the flow of the concept, the researcher will get answers from the formulation of the problem that the researcher has made.
