This research is entitled "Community Attitude To Flood Disaster Mitigation At The Border Of The River Bendung, Sekip Jaya Sub-District, Kemuning District, Palembang". The purpose of this study is to determine the community's attitude towards flood disaster mitigation in the Sungai Wendung border, Sekip Jaya Village, Kemuning District, Palembang. in this study using the concept of attitude according to Ahmadi (2016:152). The method used in this research is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. Determination of informants in this study using purposive. There were 11 informants in this study, which consisted of 9 main informants and 2 supporting informants. Types and sources of data obtained through primary data and secondary data with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, observations and library documentation. The data collected was then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman analysis model consisting of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that there are public attitudes in flood disaster mitigation efforts that exist in 4 stages, namely the prevention stage, preparedness stage, emergency response stage and recovery stage.
