The problem of illegal loging and illegal farming in rural areas where often escaped to be supervised makes land in rural areas become soft land for irresponsible companies. Economic and social in villages that are still left behind from urban areas make the government present the Social Forestry Program as a form of efforts to equalize social and economic inequality of rural communities not left too far behind with urban communities. The purpose of this study is to find out, understand, and analyze the impact of the presence of the Social Forestry Program in the middle of rimau sungsang village which was studied with social impact theory by Surto Haryono and economic impact theory by Cohen. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a qualitative descriptive type. The data collection techniques carried out in this study are with in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this study showed that there was a change in socioeconomic aspects in the community of Rimau Sungsang Village after the social forestry program in the village.
