IMPLEMENTASI KEBIJAKAN PEMILIHAN SECARA LANGSUNG ANGGOTA BADAN PERMUSYAWARATAN DESA (BPD) DI DESA REMAYU KECAMATAN TUAH NEGERI KABUPATEN MUSI RAWAS
This Research is entitled Implementation of policies by members of the village consultative Body (BPD) in Remayu Village Tuah Negeri District, Musi Rawas Regency. This research was motivated by the existence of problems regarding women's suffrage or women's votes and the incompatibility of voting results in the election of members of the Village Consultative Body (BPD) in Remayu Village Tuah Negeri District Musi Rawas Regency. This study aims to describe and analyze how the implementation of the Direct Election Policy for Members Village Consultative Body in Remayu Village, Tuah Negeri District, Musi Rawas Regency. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. This study uses the theory of Randall B. Rifley and Grace A. Franklin based on 3 indicators, namely the level of compliance with applicable regulations, the smooth implementation of routine functions, the realization of the desired performance and impact. The results o this study indicate that the implementation of the direct election policy for BPD members is still not optimal, because there is still a lack of indicators of understanding of committee and communication of the communitee to the community so that itmakes the public lack of understanding about the voting flow and affects the voting results Suggestions for this research is the need for special briefing or implementers and direct socialization to the community, it can be by holding a one-time meeting so that the community understands the BPD member election system, because this direct election was first conducted.
