HUBUNGAN PERILAKU DAN TEMPAT PERINDUKAN NYAMUK DENGAN KEJADIAN MALARIA PADA MASYARAKAT DIWILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS BANDING AGUNG KABUPATEN OKU SELATAN
THESIS, Mey 2022 Fitri Berliani : Supervised by Dr.Elvi Sunarsih , S.KM.,M.Kes Relation of Behavior and Breeding Place For Mosquitoes To Malaria Cases In The Community In The Working Area Of Banding Agung Health Center, South Oku District XV + 77 pages + 22 table + 2 image + 6 attachments ABSTRACT Malaria is a disease caused by the plasmodium parasite which is transmitted from the infected anopheles mosquito. The appleals agung health center has the highest API(Annual Parasite Inciden) value, because the area is a coastal area of lakes and rice fields resulting in the incidence of malaria. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the behavior and breeding sites of mosquitoes with the incidence of malaria in the community in the working area of the public healthcenter of Banding Agung, Ogan Komering Ulu Selatan Regency. This study uses a case control design, to find out the relationship between mosquito breeding sites and the outdoor environment, habitual factors and the climatic environment that influence the occurrence of malaria. The number of samples in this study were 100 respondents, case samples were taken from malaria sufferers with criteria > 15 years as many as 50 people and controls were taken from neighbors with malaria sufferers as many as 50 people. The result of bivariate analysis that becomes a risk factor is standing water ( OR= 2,792 CI 95% = 1,113-7,0020), presence of bushes (OR = 1,083 CI 95% = 0,494-2,373), the existence of swamps (OR= 2,970 CI 91% = 1,304-6,764), the presence of a pile of garbage (OR = 4,162 CI 95% 1,744-9,935), habit of going out at night ( OR = 3,622 CI 95% = 1,559-8418), habit of using mosquito nets ( OR = 8,143 CI 95 % = 3,325-19,943), habit of using mosquito repellent lotio( OR = 11,227 CI 95 % = 4,420-28,517), temperature ( OR = 1,294 CI 95 % = 0,573-2,921) and humandity ( OR = 4,935 CI 95 % 1,986-12,262). With this research, it is hoped that the community in the working area of the Puskesmas Banding Agung will increase their awareness of the importance of implementing a clean and healthy life by understanding the importance of habits and environmental conditions around the house on the incidence of malaria.
