ANALISIS MANAJEMEN BANK SAMPAH TERHADAP PENGELOLAAN SAMPAH ANORGANIK DI BANK SAMPAH UNIT FLAMBOYAN KECAMATAN BATU AJI KOTA BATAM TAHUN 2022
Garbage banks have an important role in the community. To protect the environment so that people are able to cultivate used goods into something that can be used as valuable and useful things. The purpose of this study was to analyze waste bank management on inorganic waste management at the Flamboyan Waste Bank Unit, Batam City. This study used qualitative research methods. Information was collected through indepth interviews, observation and photovoice. The informants in this study consisted of 8 people consisting of field implementers from the Environmental Service, Head of the Waste Bank Unit, Secretary of the Waste Bank Unit and also Waste Bank Customers. Analysis of the data used is content analysis. The validity test was carried out through triangulation of sources, methods and data. The results showed that the flamboyant unit waste bank has been trying to run the waste bank program for 8 years and become a place for the community to save household inorganic waste that has been sorted by type. However, the implementation of the program is not in accordance with the standards based on the Regulation of the State Minister of the Environment Number 13 of 2012 concerning Guidelines for the Implementation of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle through Waste Banks. Among them are the number of human resources that are still inadequate due to the lack of members who manage the waste bank. In addition, the flamboyant unit waste bank does not yet have standard operating procedures related to ongoing programs such as the absence of light fire extinguishers and personal protective equipment so that this is not in accordance with existing standard operating procedures. Suggestions for this research are for managers to optimize activities in the form of routine socialization in order to attract new customers and increase knowledge and insight to the wider community regarding waste banks and to rerun the waste bank replication program to increase the creativity of waste bank managers in utilizing inorganic waste to become multipurpose goods.
