During the Covid-19 pandemic and the new Normal policy, the Government allowed tourist attractions to be re-opened but the manager had to implement strict health protocols in accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number Hk.01.07/Menkes/382/2020 concerning Health Protocols for People in Places and Public facilities. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to find out how the implementation of health protocol policies in tourism objects in Musi Banyuasin district. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. There were 11 informants, namely informants from the Muba Youth Sports and Tourism Office, the Muba Covid-19 Task Force, managers and visitors to tourist objects. The data used in the research are primary and secondary data which are then analyzed using content analysis. The results showed that the manager of the tourist attraction already knew the health protocol. Already have SOPs and infrastructure for health protocols, there are CPTS and health messages. However, there is still no non-cash payment method and a place to scan barcodes to protect. In the process variable, it is quite good but what has not been maximized is the planning and organizing process. In conclusion, in general, the implementation of health protocols at tourist objects in Musi Banyuasin district is fully running well, it is hoped that the government can re-socialize about scanning barcodes for protection and the use of non-cash payments and it is hoped that the tourism object managers can form a special team for health protocols.
