Impacted is a teeth which obstructed normal eruption so they could not reach the perfect occlusal eruption normally in a dental arch. The most frequently experienced impaction of teeth is ihird molar. Third molar impacted can disturb mastication function and cause various pathological condition. Pathological condition discussed in this research is caries distal on its second molar. The purpose of this research is lo find a frequency distrihution caries on second molar in third molar impacted patients in RSUP Dr. Mohammad hoesin palembang on January- May 2013. This research is survey descriptive research by approach cross sectional study and samples taken with purposive sampling techniques. Main of data sources comes from a registers book, medical record card and panoramic roentgen of patients with cases third molar impacted Based on researck from 75 samples there are 28 patients (37.3%) showed caries distal on second molar neighbours. The highest caries in position mesioangular with 18 patients (24%). Patients with caries distal second molar at the third molar impacted more guiler in patients with women with 20 patients (71.5%). By age more occurring at age 15-24 years with 18 patients (643%).
