PERAN ANTARA IDENTITAS SOSIAL TERHADAP PERILAKU AGRESI PADA KOMUNITAS RX KING
This study aims to determine role of social identity towards aggressive behavior (physical aggression, verbal aggression, anger and hostility) on members of the rx-king community. The study hypothesis that there are a role for social identity towards physical aggression, verbal aggression, anger and hostility. The population of this study was all members of the rx-king community in Indonesia. The participants in this study were 152 members of the rx-king community who lived in Indonesia. This study uses two scales as a measuring tool, namely the social identity scale which refers to components of Ellmers, Kortekaas dan Ouwerkerk (1999) and aggressive behavior scale which refers to dimensions of Buss dan Perry (1992). Hypothesis testing is done using simple regression analysis. The regression result showed that social identity have the significant role towards physical aggression (R square=0,387, F=94,871, p=0,000), verbal aggression (R square=0,178, F=32,563, p=0,000), anger (R square=0,198, F=37,088, p=0,000) and hostility (R square=0,451, F=123,163, p=0,000). This means that social identity has a role towards physical aggression, verbal aggression, anger and hostility. Thus, the hypothesis purposed is accepted.
