Sanitation of the household environment is a very close relationship with the number of cases of dengue fever. The condition of the house and the environment that does not meet health requirements, such as still standing water and used goods in the yard of the house, is one of the main risk factors for environmental-based disease transmission. Where the incidence of DHF in the Working Area of the Pengdonan Health Center has increased from year to year. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between household environmental sanitation and the incidence of dengue fever in the work area of the Pengadonan Health Center, North Pagar Alam District. This research is a quantitative research with a cross sectional study design, the sample taken is 110 respondents. Sampling was carried out using purposive sampling technique with data analysis using Chi- Square. The results showed that the incidence of dengue fever in the work area of the Pengadonan Health Center was 60 people (54.5%). The related variables were the habit of draining and cleaning water reservoirs (p-value : 0.0001), the habit of closing water reservoirs (p-value : 0.0001), the habit of hanging clothes (p-value : 0.001), the use of anti-inflammatory drugs. mosquitoes (p-value : 0.007), use of abate powder (p-value : 0.013), and waste management (p-value : 0.009) with the incidence of DHF in the Working Area of the Pengdonan Health Center. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the habit of draining and cleaning water reservoirs, the habit of closing water reservoirs, the habit of hanging clothes, the use of mosquito repellent, the use of abate powder, and waste management are variables that affect the incidence of DHF in the Work Area of the Pengdonan Health Center. Pagar Alam Utara District, Pagar Alam City.
