HUBUNGAN ANTARA MATTERING DAN KESEJAHTERAAN PSIKOLOGIS MAHASISWA PESERTA MERDEKA BELAJAR - MADANG MERDEKA (MBKM)
The aim of this research was to determine whether or not there is a relationship between mattering and psychological well-being of undergraduates who are part of Merdeka Belajar – Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program. There were two hypotheses in this study, the main and minor hypotheses. The main hypothesis of this study was there is a relationship between mattering and psychological well-being. The minor hypotheses of this study were: there is a relationship between mattering and: (1) autonomy; (2) environmental mastery; (3) personal growth; (4) positive relations with others; (5) purpose in life; (6) self-acceptance of MBKM participants. 200 undergraduates who participated in MBKM program were taken as respondents in this study. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The measuring instruments utilized in this study were the Indonesian-translated Mattering Index which referred to the components of mattering by Elliott, Kao, & Grant (2004) and the Adapted Psychological Well-being (PWB) scale by Rachmayani & Ramdhani (2014) which referred to the dimensions of PWB by Ryff & Keyes (1995). Data analysis in this study was carried out using the Pearson product moment and Rank Spearman correlation technique.
