ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN TINGKAT KEPADATAN LALAT PADA LOS TEMPAT PENJUALAN AYAM POTONG DI PASAR INDRALAYA MULYA KECAMATAN INDRALAYA TAHUN 2021
Fly is an insect categorized in Orde of Diphtheria as mechanical vectors of disease transmission. The existence of flies is influenced by various factors, including poor environmental sanitation, this is due to the habit of flies that perch in dirty, damp and smelly places such as markets as breeding places, also supported by environmental factors such as temperature and humidity. Therefore, flies can be an indicator of good or bad sanitation in a place. This research aimed to determine the relation between waste management, drainage, temperature and humidity and the density of fly in the stall ehere broilers are sold in Indralaya Mulya market, Indralaya District. This study used a analytical survey research with a cross sectional study design. Sampling with a total sampling technique of 18 stalls selling broiler chicken. Data analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate using Kendall’s Tau and Mann Whitney tests. The result of data analysis showed that of the 4 variables studied, there were 3 related variabeles, namely waste management (p-value = 0,001 ; r = 0,775), temperature (p-value = 0,040) and humidity (p-value = 0,021)with a density level of flies. There is no relationship between drainage and fly density (p-value = 0,192). It is hoped that traders and market managers will increase awareness and pay attention to factors that can affect the level of fly density in the stall and market environment, as well as control fly breeding places.
