Background: Endodontic infection is a root canal infection caused by various pathogens. Natural root canal irrigants used on endodontic treatment because it could eliminate microorganisms and non-toxic, such as propolis. Peptostreptococcus anaerobius is one of obligate anaerobic Gram positive bacterium commonly found in primer endodontic infections. Objective: T o evaluate the antibacterial effectiveness of 15%, 20%, 25%, and 30% propolis against Peptostreptococcus anaerobius. Methods. Peptostreptococcus anaerobius strain was selected to determine the antibacterial activity of propolis by using the Kirby Bauer method. Metronidazole was used as positive control and sterilized water as negative control. Paper discs were moistened with test Solutions and placed on the chocolate blood agar medium plates contained bacterial inoculation. Antibacterial activity seen from the large diameter of inhibitory zone formed around the paper disc. Inhibitory zones recorded and the results were analyzed statistically. Statistical analysis was performed with the Kruskal-Wallis test (p
