This research is entitled "Community Participation in Tourism Development of Tanjung Kerasak Beach, Pasir Putih Village, Tukak Sadai District, South Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands". The problem in this research is how is the form of community participation in tourism development and what are the factors behind community participation in tourism development. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method. In determining the informants using the purposive model. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. This study uses the Isbandi concept of participation. The results of this study indicate that in tourism development there are 4 stages, namely decision making, implementation, evaluation, and utilization of results. In addition, there is also a form of community participation in tourism development, namely a form of participation in the field of facilities and infrastructure where the community helps the government in managing tourism and the community participates in promoting coastal tourism through social media. The factors behind community participation in tourism development are increasing employment opportunities and increasing the community's economy.
