KUNJUNGAN LAYANAN NEONATAL BERDASARKAN REGION DI INDONESIA
Neonatal care visit is one of the efforts that can be done to reduce the neonatal mortality rate. In Indonesia, there is limited study that discuss neonatal visit by region in the last decade. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that influence neonatal visit based on region in Indonesia. This study is a quantitative study by using a cross-sectional design. The data used in this study is secondary data from the 2018 Basic Health Research. The sample of this study was 64,321 women of childbearing age respondents who have 29 days - 59 months old babies. The dependent variable of this study was neonatal visit that is at least one time of first neonatal visit, at least one time of secon neonatal visit, and at least one time of third neonatal visit. The data was analyzed using binary logistic regression statistical test. The region with the highest proportion of neonatal visit was in Java-Bali at 58.5%, while the region with the lowest proportion of neonatal visit was in Papua at 23.8%. The results of binary logistic regression analysis showed that the birth attendant variable (p-value < 0.001) is a variable that has a significant effect on neonatal visit in all regions. Other variables that are also related to neonatal service visits include urban area of residence, higher and secondary education status
