The participation of the National Health Insurance in Talang Kelapa District is still very low at 18,997 out of 150,976 people so it has not yet reached the Universal Health Coverage (UHC) target. 90% of the industrial sector in the Banyuasin district is located in Talang Kelapa District. They work as traders who have the potential to increase JKN participation from the informal sector. The purpose of this study was to determine the determinants of National Health Insurance Participation of Non-Wage Recipient Participants at Traders in Talang Kelapa District. This study uses quantitative analytical methods using a cross-sectional design. The population of this research is traders in Talang Kelapa District. The research sample amounted to 119 respondents, which were taken using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. The analysis used univariate analysis and bivariate analysis with Chi-Square statistical test. The results of the univariate analysis revealed that 37.0% of respondents decided to become JKN participants.
