Maternal mortality rate reflects the number of maternal deaths due to risks during pregnancy and childbirth. Maternal deaths are caused by several factors such as severe bleeding, infections, circulatory disorders, gestational hypertension (pre-eclampsia), metabolic disorders, and others. Gestational hypertension or hypertension in pregnancy is when the blood pressure is equal to 140mmHg systolic or 90mmHg diastolic or greater, after 20 weeks of pregnancy to women who are previously normotensive, or an increase in systolic blood pressure of 30 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure of 15mmHg above the normal rate. This research aims to determine the relationship between physical activity level, energy intake, and pregnant gymnastics on blood pressure of pregnant women in trimester II-III in the Martapura Health Center, OKU Timur regency. The research method used is observational analytical study with cross-sectional design. The sample used is 75 subjects. The sampling technique used in this study is insidental/ accidental sampling with questionnaires. The data were analyzed by univariate and bivariate with chi-square tests. Univariate test results showed that 53,3% pregnant women indicated gestational hypertension. The research result showed physical activity level (p=0,0001), energy intake (p=0017), pregnant gymnastics (p=0,385) It could be concluded that there is a relationship between physical activity level and energy intake on blood pressure. But, there is no relationship between pregnant gymnastics on blood pressure of pregnant women. It is advised and recommended for pregnant women in their second to third trimester to do physical activity regularly other than house-chores, and to manage and adjust the diet with a variety of food choices and increase the daily food portion.
