This study analyzed the phenomenology of socio-economic attachment among swamp buffalo farmers in Kuro Village, Pampangan District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. This study aimed to determine how the socio-economic attachment between swamp buffalo farmers. The method used in this study was from observations, interviews, and documentation. This study used the unit of analysis of the concept of attachment (Granovetter) and social interaction theory (Gillin & Gillin). The results of this study showed that the socio-economic attachments that occur to swamp buffalo farmers in Kuro Village were interrelated to protect swamp buffalo because of an important asset for swamp buffalo breeders and cultivating them such as their function and breeding. While social interaction is a beneficial social network for farmers or the role of the people of Kuro Village in providing information such as seeing swamp buffalo trapped in a swamp or using swamp buffalo milk was carried out by mothers in Kuro Village.
