The COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on the people of Indonesia, especially in the agricultural sector, causing problems with food availability. In some areas, of course, not all of them have sufficient food availability to cope with people's food consumption during this pandemic. This can cause a household's food consumption pattern to change. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on the availability and diversity of household food consumption of farm workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between food availability and the diversity of household food consumption of farm workers. This research is an analytic descriptive observational research with a cross sectional design. The population in this study were all families of farm workers in Labuhan Ratu Dua Village. The research sample is a family of farm workers who have the criteria of being able to determine the availability of household food with a total sample of 99 respondents. Analysis of the data used is chi square analysis and logistic regression risk model. Based on the results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between food availability and the diversity of household food consumption of farm workers (p-value = 0.000) and based on the results of multivariate analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between food availability and the diversity of household food consumption after controlling for the income variable. family (adjusted OR 80.76) and level of nutritional knowledge (adjusted OR 55.42). It can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between food availability and the diversity of household food consumption of farm workers. The availability of food that is not guaranteed has a 71.53 times higher chance of having low food diversity compared to households that have guaranteed food availability.
