With the enactment of government policies during this pandemic regarding work from home (WFH) and study from home (SFH) which causes people to carry out activities both working and studying from home. Learning that used to be done face-to-face has now turned into online. This condition causes students to have to stare at the monitor screen longer than usual and this condition has been going on for more than 1 year. Without realizing it, continuous use of computers with the wrong posture can cause complaints of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). Complaints of musculoskeletal disorders are conditions caused by injuries or disorders of the skeletal system which include pain, anxiety, numbness, tingling, cramps, and others. This study aims to determine the relationship between sitting work attitudes and complaints of musculoskeletal disorders in students of the Public Health Sciences Study Program (S1) class of 2018-2021, computer users during online lecture periods. This research is a quantitative study with a crosssectional, with a total sample of 91 students of the 2018-2021 Public Health Sciences Study Program. The statistical test used is Chi Square. The results showed that non-ergonomic work attitudes were more dominant with musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) as many as 38 (48.7%) students and based on bivariate analysis showed that there was a relationship between sitting work attitude and complaints of musculoskeletal disorders (p-value = 0.029) against students of the Public Health Sciences Study Program (S1) Class of 2018-2021 computer users during the online lecture period. Recommended for students to stretch for 2 minutes every 2 hours using a computer/laptop, using assistive devices such as an ergonomic table and chair (which can be adjusted), and a mouse and it is hoped that each student will pay more attention to body posture when using a computer.
