The song “Bingung” is a popular work by Iksan Skuter with the theme of social messages. This song is very interesting to study because this song represents the current social conditions in Indonesia. This study aims to find out how existentialism nihilist is contained in the lyrics of the bingung song. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method using Schleiermacher's hermeneutic theory. This study refers to the dimensions of the hermeneutic theory of grammatical interpretation and psychological interpretation. The results of this study conclude that bingung song becomes an interesting medium or platform used to convey messages to listeners. The author of the text conveys the massage in a simple way, the use of words in the lyrics of the bingung song that is creative based on the reality that is happening in the community and the selection of easy listening tones and music makes the massage that is trying to be conveyed easier to understand and reach the listener.
