ANALISIS KEPADATAN NYAMUK ANOPHELES SP DI KECAMATAN GUNUNG MEGANG KABUPATEN MUARA ENIM TAHUN 2021
Malaria is a disease caused by parasites of the Plasmodium that is transmitted through the bite of Anopheles sp to humans which is a health problem in Indonesia. High malaria cases in Gunung Megang District in 2019 there were 34 positive cases of malaria. This study aims to analyze the density of Anopheles sp mosquitoes in Gunung Megang District, Muara Enim Regency. The method used in this research is a descriptive method with a cross sectional approach. Mosquito samples were taken using the Accidental Sampling approach, while the samples for measuring temperature, humidity and larval predators used random sampling techniques. The data analysis used is univariate. The results of the univariate analysis showed that the average air temperature was 23,790C and the average humidity was 68.63%, while the presence of larvae predators were found in 45 houses (25.3%) with larvae-eating fish. There are four species of Anopheles sp found, namely An. umbrosus. An. sinensis, An. nigerimus with an Man Hour Density (MHD) value of 0.06 and An.barbirostris with an Man Hour Density (MHD) value of 0.25. The results of catching mosquitoes are often found outside the house due to residents' activities at night without using personal protective equipment. Residents are advised to use personal protection or mosquito repellent to avoid mosquito bites.
