World oil prices were increasingly experiencing a drastic decline so that it had a bad impact on crude oil exporting countries because production costs were greater than the selling value of crude oil in the international market. The trade monopoly carried out by Saudi Arabia against Russia had an impact on the Russian economy because the income earned by Russia from the oil export sector would decrease and the lack of income from the crude oil sector as a result of the decline in Russian state income taxes because crude oil energy sources had supported the Russian economy.Russia used the oil sector as the foundation of the country's economy, therefore Russia's economic growth was influenced by the rise or fall of crude oil prices. It could be concluded that the condition of falling world oil prices made the Russian economy slow down because Russia lost its source of income
