This study aimed to determine the impact of Saudi Arabia's oil price war on Russia on changes in world oil prices due to the covid-19 outbreak. Oil was an important commodity for a country, itwas considered important because it could be used in all aspects of people's lives of a country. Moreover, oil could also be used as a source of energy for industry and also as a support for the economy in a country. Data collection techniques used in this study were explanatory research and secondary qualitative data types or sources, which meant that all references from this research came from websites, journals, books, social media and sources from government institutions, both formal and non-formal.Theresearch’s resultson the impact of the trade war for Saudi Arabia and Russia were the trade war had made crude oil prices plummet. World oil prices were increasingly experiencing a drastic decline so that it had a bad impact on crude oil exporting countries because production costs were greater than the selling value of crude oil in the international market. The trade monopoly carried out by Saudi Arabia against Russia had an impact on the Russian economy because the income earned by Russia from the oil export sector would decrease and the lack of income from the crude oil sector as a result of the decline in Russian state income taxes because crude oil energy sources had supported the Russian economy.Russia used the oil sector as the foundation of the country's economy, therefore Russia's economic growth was influenced by the rise or fall of crude oil prices. It could be concluded that the condition of falling world oil prices made the Russian economy slow down because Russia lost its source of income
