This objective of this research was to determine the effect of fermentated palm oil solid on the performance of local layer. This reasech was conducted on experimental cage at the Berlian Makmur Village, Sungai Lilin Sub Distric, South Sumatra for 2 mounth that was April to Mei 2014. This research used the completely randomized design (CRD) which consists of 5 treatments and 3 repetitions. The treatments is used by adding the produck of oil palm solid into feed ration. The treatments contained by R0= Feed ration + 0 % oil palm solid (control), Rl= feed ration + 4 % fermentated oil palm solid, R2= feed ration + 8 % fermentated oil palm solid, R3= feed ration + 12 % fermentated oil palm solid, R4= feed ration + 4% fresh oil palm solid. The parameters of this research were feed ration cunsumtion, percentage of hen-day, egg production and feed ration conversion. This study on feed resulting concluded using signifikan cannot effect (P>0.05) to feed consumption, hen-day egg production dan feed ration conversion.
