This research is entitled Evaluation of the Traditional Week Program in Preserving Culture in South Sumatra. as well as raise public awareness of culture. The purpose of this study was to determine the results of the evaluation of the traditional week program in preserving culture in South Sumatra. The method used in this study is a qualitative method based on the results of interviews and documentation and observations. The theory used is the theory of evaluation of the CIPP model (Context, Input, Process, Product) by Daniel Stufflebeam. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the evaluation of the traditional week program in preserving culture in South Sumatra has gone well, where in the evaluation the traditional week program itself has goals and objectives to be achieved, then for human resources it is sufficient which in its implementation uses an event organizer. (EO) but the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Province of South Sumatra has divided staff according to their respective fields to control the course of the program and the performance of the event organizers. in accordance with the SOP for the activities that have been determined, as well as in achieving the success of the evaluation of the traditional week program in preserving culture in South Sumatra, namely using strategies to educate the public about the history and meaning of culture so that they can provide insight and knowledge to the community. a target of the existence of this traditional week program about culture in the city of Palembang Keywords: Evaluation, Traditional Week, Preserving Culture
