ANALISIS FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN PEMILIHAN METODE KONTRASEPSI JANGKA PANJANG (MKJP) DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS MAKARTI MULYA KABUPATEN OKI
The Indonesian government makes a policy to control the rate of population growth through the implementation of the Family Planning Program that focuses on the use of Long-Acting Reversible Contraception Method (LARC). This study aims to determine the factors associated with the selection of the use of the long-term contraceptive method. This study used a cross-sectional study design with a purposive sampling technique to obtain a sample of 150 active acceptors in the Makarti Mulya Public Health Center working area. Collecting data through interviews with a questionnaire instrument analyzed by univariate, bivariate, and multivariate. The results of the univariate analysis showed that the acceptors who used the LARC were 32.7%. The results of the bivariate analysis revealed that there was a significant relationship between age (p-value=0,000), parity (p-value=0,001), educational (p-value=0,015), occupation (p-value=0,001), income (p-value=0,000), family planning goals (p-value=0,000), husband's support (p-value=0,001), role of family planning officers (p-value=0,006), and perceptions (p-value=0,000) with the selection of the long-term contraceptive method while knowledge(p-value=0,255), desired ideal number of children (p-value=1,000), and quality of family planning services (p-value=0,198) did not related to selection of the LARC. The results of this study are expected to be considered for family planning officers to actively provide counseling and counseling using the family planning decision making tool according to the implementation operational standards to provide knowledge and change the mindset of couples of childbearing age related to contraception, especially LARC.
