AKTIVITAS PENAMBANG MINYAK ILEGAL DI DESA SUNGAI ANGIT KECAMATAN BABAT TOMAN KABUPATEN MUSI BANYUASIN
Oil is one of the vital needs for all countries. Oil that is useful as fuel for engine operation is needed by the state, especially in the transportation and industry sectors. This study specifically discusses how illegal oil mining activities are carried out in Sungai Agit Village, Babat Toman District, Musi Banyuasin Regency using soerjono soekamto's theory of social impacs. The purpose of this study is to understand how illegal oil mining activities are carried out in Sungai Agit Village, Babat Toman District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. This study uses primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained through observation data and in-depth interviews. Meanwhile, secondary data was obtained through journals, articles and data from government agencies. This study uses data collection techniques based on observations, interviews, and literature and documentation studies. The results of the study showed negative and positive impacts, from negative impacts, namely where changes in air, pollution, decreased soil to be infortile. Positive impacts provide benefits to the community by generating economic growth, creating jobs, and being able to meet the needs of life.
