PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN DENGAN MEDIA MAPS FOR EDUCATION TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN REMAJA PUTRI TENTANG PENANGANAN DISMENORE.
Dysmenorrhea can cause most adolescent girls to experience limitations in their activities, absence from school, and even withdrawal from daily interactions, therefore there is a need for treatment that can help reduce dysmenorrhea. One of the factors that can influence efforts to treat dysmenorrhea is knowledge. As for one of the efforts that can be done to increase knowledge about the management of dysmenorrhea is to provide health education. In this study, health education was provided with media maps for education. This study aims to determine the effect of health education with media maps for education on the knowledge of adolescent girls about the treatment of dysmenorrhea. This study used pre-experimental designed with one group pretest-post test design used a probability sampling method with stratified random sampling technique. The number of samples in this study were 66 adolescent girls who experienced dysmenorrhea. Knowledge of adolescent girls about the treatment of dysmenorrhea was measured using a knowledge questionnaire. Statistical analysis in this study using the marginal homogeneity test. Based on the results of the analysis, the p value of 0.000 ( 0.05) showed that media maps for education had a significant effect on the knowledge of adolescent girls about the treatment of dysmenorrhea. Media maps for education are very effective in increasing the knowledge of young women about the management of dysmenorrhea so that the media can be used as a medium for health education.
