ANALISIS STRATEGI DI PELAYANAN RAWAT INAP KELAS III RUMAH SAKIT UMUM YK MADIRA
Based on the health department of palembang city, the BOR (bed occupancy rate) bed usage rate of general hospital Yk Madira in 2019 is 32%, the year 2020 is 29%, and the year 2021 is 15% which is under the national target set on 60-85%. Then there was a change of the hospital status or position formerly from mother and child hospital into a general hospital which has collaborated with the Social Health Insurance Administration Body (BPJS Kesehatan), and the use of Class III Inpatient Services rooms only active as much as 3 rooms. This study aims to analyze the strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats in Class III Inpatient Services of general hospital Yk Madira by analyzing the condition of Inpatient Services and medical support services who serve inpatient services with a SWOT approach. This research method is a descriptive analytic study using a qualitative approach. Method of research used some techniques of in-depth interview, observation, and documentation. The informants of this study consist of 3 inpatient services ward heads, 3 inpatient services ward nurses, and a person each from medical support services. The results showed the strength of inpatient care, there are employee education qualifications, medical and non medical equipment for inpatient care and medical support services, there is staff training, as long as the pandemic gives priority to health protocol, collaboration with BPJS. Weaknesses in the insufficient number of inpatient care and medical support services staff, SIMRS not integrated yet with the ward, non compliance healthcare workers of SOP/SPM, the facilities and infrastructure has sudden damage. Opportunities for coordination with other health facilities, strategis hospital location. The threats to the purchasing power of patients are weakening. The conclusion based on the results of the SWOT analysis is the development of a Class III Inpatient Service strategy of Public Hospital Yk Madira is a necessity given the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that exist through strategic efforts to improve the quality of services. The suggestions include increasing the quantity and quality of workers, monitoring and developing facilities, infrastructure, resources, technology and maximizing the cooperation that has been built.
