ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA PASIEN INFARK MIOKARD AKUT SEGMEN ST ELEVASI (STEMI) DI RUANG CVCU RSUP MOHAMMAD HOESIN PALEMBANG
Background: The main symptoms of STEMI are shortness of breath, nausea and vomiting, and fainting. Pain occurs in the same area as angina (chest, throat, arms, epigastrium, or back) but is more severe and lasts longer and is often described as tightness, heaviness or constriction in the chest (Novrianti et al., 2021). The act of providing oxygenation therapy is a collaborative action which serves to meet the oxygen needs of STEMI patients (Retnosari, 2016). Aim: Describes the implementation of emergency nursing practice which is focused on the implementation of nursing care for patients with ST Elevation Myocardial Infarct and an evidence based study in the CVCU of RSUP dr.Mohammad Hoesin Palembang Method: This type of research is a qualitative method with a case study approach. The subjects of this case study were three patients to explore the problem of nursing care in STEMI patients in the CVCU room of RSUP Moh. Hoesin Palembang Result: The results of the study showed that all three patients had a medical diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction with the same ST segment elevation, namely having a heart rhythm disorder characterized by an increase in the ST segment. Nursing evaluations were carried out on three patients under management with nursing problems the risk of decreased cardiac output after being given oxygenation therapy increased peripheral pulse strength, decreased palpitations, decreased ECG arrhythmias, decreased tachycardia. Conclution: All research respondents who experience disturbances in breathing patterns can be given oxygen therapy with high monitoring so that hyperoxygenation does not occur Keywords : STEMI, risk of decreased cardiac output, oxygen therapy.
