This research was conducted to know the Budget Performance of the Plantation Plant Protection Program During the Covid-19 of the South Sumatra Province Plantation Office in 2020. The problems that occurred were motivated by a change in the budget at the South Sumatra Province Plantation Office in 2020. This research was analyzed using The concept of measuring budget performance according to Mohamad Mahsun is to determine budget performance by calculating the budget difference. The research method is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The data used was obtained directly from the Plantation Office of South Sumatra Province in the form of a Physical and Financial Progress Report on the Regional Budget of the Plantation Service of South Sumatra Province. The results of this study indicate that the budget performance of the plantation plant protection program of the Plantation Service of South Sumatra Province is in the good performance category. It is proven by the calculation of budget performance which results in a budget difference that does not exceed the budget allocation or underspending and achievement of performance that meets the target. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the budget changes that occurred did not have a major impact on the budget performance of the plantation crop protection program in 2020. The Plantation Service of the South Sumatra Province must maintain budget performance and improve and maximize program budget performance.
