PM10 is one of five critical parameters that are the focus of studies on air pollution because it can penetrate and enter deep into the lungs. Air quality in the blacksmith industry sector poses a risk to health due to exposure to particulate matter generated from the production process. This study aims to estimate the risk received by blacksmith workers due to PM10 in their workplace in Limbang Jaya I Village, Tanjung Batu District, Ogan Ilir Regency. This research is a descriptive research using environmental health risk analysis method. Samples of respondents were taken using the Purposive Sampling of as many as 30 people and air samples were measured at 3 points using the Met One Instruments. The results of this study indicate that the average concentration of PM10 in the air is 96.77 g/Nm3samples are still within the safe limit according to the provisions of Government Regulation No. 41 of 1999 concerning air quality monitoring, which is 150 g/Nm3, the average body weight of the respondents is 52.4 kg, the average frequency of exposure was 257.47 days/year, the average exposure time was 7.43 hours/day, the average duration of exposure was 17.17 years, and the inhalation rate was 0.5 m3/hour. so that the realtime RQ value is 0.18 and the lifetime RQ value is 0.34. The conclusion from these results is that no environmental health risks have been found from the potential dangers of PM10 on the health of blacksmith workers in Limbang Jaya I Village. However, efforts are still needed to reduce direct exposure to PM10 so that it does not enter the body of blacksmith workers by using PPE such as masks and also regulate working hours.
