Currently, the world community is facing a global pandemic caused by the infectious disease Covid-19. Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) is a respiratory tract infection caused by SARS CoV-2. The Covid-19 vaccination is one of the efforts made by the government to form protection against disease through the formation of immunity against the virus. Health human resources are a major milestone in the Covid-19 vaccination service. Aek Kanopan Public Health Center is one of the inpatient health centers located in North Labuhanbatu Regency which is far from the provincial capital and is included in the rural area. In carrying out their duties, Covid-19 vaccination officers feel a high workload. One of the factors that can cause a decrease in employee performance is complaints about the high workload. This study aims to analyze the workload of Covid-19 vaccination officers at the Aek Kanopan Health Center using the Work Sampling technique. This research is a descriptive research with qualitative data analysis. There were 10 informants in this study. Data obtained from interviews and observations using work sampling technique. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using content analysis, namely by comparing all the results of interviews and document review. Based on the results of the interview, it can be seen that the Covid-19 vaccination officers have educational backgrounds, namely doctors, midwives, nurses and public health scholars. Based on observations using the work sampling technique, it shows that the productive activities of Covid-19 vaccination officers spend as much as 2695 minutes or 80.02%. non-productive activities took 335 minutes or 9.97% and personal activities took 330 minutes or 9.82%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the educational background of the vaccination officers is in accordance with the technical instructions for the implementation of the Covid-19 vaccination. Meanwhile, the workload of the Covid-19 vaccination officer at the Aek Kanopan Health Center has reached the optimum standard of 80%, so the workload of the Covid-19 vaccination officer at the Aek Kanopan Health Center is a high workload.
