PERAN SENSE OF COHERENCE TERHADAP FUTURE ANXIETY PADA MAHASISWA TINGKAT AKHIR

This study aims to determine the role of a sense of coherence towards future anxiety in final-year undergraduate students. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a role for a sense of coherence in future anxiety in final-year undergraduate students. Respondents in this study were 200 final-year undergraduate students who were doing their thesis. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Both measuring instruments made by the author, the future anxiety scale refers to future anxiety dimensions from Hammad (2016) and the sense of coherence scale refers to the sense of coherence components from Antonovsky (1987). Data analysis in this study used simple regression. The result of the regression analysis showed that the R square value between the sense of coherence and future anxiety was 0.476, the F value was 59.284, and the significance value was 0.000 (p < 0.005).
