Stunting is a condition of failure to thrive in children under five as a result of chronic malnutrition so that the child is too short for his age. Lack of knowledge of mothers about health and nutritional needs needed during pregnancy and after childbirth. This study aims to determine the description of stunting prevention behavior in under-two mothers (under two years) in Air Beliti Village, Tuah Negeri District, Musi Rawas Regency. The mother's behavior was studied based on knowledge, attitudes, actions, knowledge of providing complementary feeding, breastfeeding, and health services. This study uses qualitative research methods and descriptive research design involving 17 informants. The results of the study show that under two years old mothers have implemented several pillars of STBM in preventing stunting, but there are still some that have not been fulfilled with all of these pillars. Mother's knowledge about stunting is a child who is malnourished, short or stunted which has an impact on the development of the child later. The mother's attitude towards stunting is already able to weigh the decision if her child is indicated to be stunting, but the informants are still embarrassed to admit that children are stunted because they feel that stunting is a disgrace. eat clowns. Knowledge of the provision of complementary feeding that the majority of mothers under two years of age in serving complementary feeding for infants is still one menu, but there is no variation and mothers of infants also do not know the guidelines or rules for providing complementary feeding to infants. Breastfeeding mothers under two have initiated early breastfeeding, but there are still mothers under two who have not performed exclusive breastfeeding. Health services that access to health services is only about 5-6 kilos and mothers of under-fives admit that they do not experience difficulties. Research advice to mothers of under-fives is the need to get education related to complementary feeding starting from guidelines or appropriate rules in giving complementary feeding so that later the baduta mother will be able to give good and correct mp-asi.
