Pulmonary Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. From 2020 to 2021 the Tanjung Batu Health Center in Ogan Ilir Regency experienced an increase in cases from 32 cases to 37 cases (up 15.6%). Judging from the epidemiological triad model, pulmonary TB can be influenced by 3 factors, namely the agent in the form of M. tuberculosis, the host in the form of habitual behavior of opening windows and smoking habits and the physical environment of the house in the form of light intensity, humidity, temperature, ventilation and residential density. imbalance will cause a decrease in immune conditions and favorable environmental conditions for the proliferation of pulmonary TB bacteria. This study is a quantitative study with a case-control design. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between window opening habits (p-value 0.000), smoking habits (p-value = 0.002), light intensity (p-value = 0.000), humidity (p-value = 0.028) and temperature. (p-value = 0.010) with the incidence of pulmonary TB. And there is no significant relationship between ventilation (p-value = 0.604), occupancy density (p-value = 0.581) and the incidence of pulmonary TB. It can be concluded that opening window habits, smoking habits, light intensity, humidity, and temperature are risk factors for the incidence of pulmonary TB in the Tanjung Batu Health Center work area, Ogan Ilir Regency, while ventilation and residential density are not risk factors for the incidence of pulmonary TB. Suggestions for this research are that people should open windows and doors of the house, reduce cigarette consumption, install some glass tiles, add a fan/AC/humidifier, and place family members who have infectious diseases in separate rooms to reduce contact with other family members.
