Tourist attractions were public places that might cause pollutants to the environment, the spread of the disease, and other health problems. The transmission of several infectious diseases was closely related to the sanitation level, as well as poor personal and environmental hygiene. Sanitation facilities at Kambang Iwak Park Palembang were still insufficient. The purpose of this study was to analyze the quality of sanitation facilities and describe the community satisfaction in Kambang Iwak Park, Palembang City. This research was using a descriptive qualitative method by using an observation approach, in-depth interviews, and photovoice techniques. The results showed that the sanitation facilities in Kambang Iwak Park were still inadequate in quality according to the sanitation inspection form issued by the ministry of health. This was happened because Kambang Iwak Park still does not provide a separate closed garbage bin based on type, does not have hand-washing facilities, inadequate toilets, and sewers that clogged with garbage, as well as lack of the community’s satisfaction because of adequate sanitation facilities. It can be concluded that the sanitation facilities of Kambang Iwak Park were considered unfit the sanitation needs of visitors and the visitors' satisfaction with the sanitation facilities of Kambang Iwak Park was still considered unsatisfactory. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the sanitation facilities in Kambang Iwak Park and it is hoped that it can increase visitor satisfaction regarding the sanitation facilities in Kambang Iwak Park.
