ANALISIS FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PERILAKU VAKSINASI COVID-19 PADA MAHASISWA DI UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA TAHUN 2022
The gap in the numbers of the behavior of the first and second doses of the vaccine can cause herd immunity to be weak. Several educational facilities in Indonesia have started to conduct face-to-face learning so that it is likely to be implemented in universities. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the behavior of the COVID-19 vaccine in students at Sriwijaya University. This research is quantitative research using a cross sectional design. In this study, there were 216 samples of active students from class 2019, 2020, 2021. Data was obtained from filling out google forms and analyzed using the Chi Square test and Multiple Logistics Regression. The results showed that there were 202 respondents (93.5%) who had a complete vaccination behavior category. The variable related to the behavior of the COVID-19 vaccine is the knowledge variable (P-value 0.019). In addition, the unrelated variables were attitude (P-value 0.091), availability of facilities and infrastructure (P-value 1,000), family support (parents) (P-value 0.085), and friend support (P-value 0.566). The most dominant variable in influencing student behavior towards the COVID-19 vaccine is knowledge with (P- value = 0.039; PR = 4,378; 95% CI = (1,074-17,543). That is, respondents who have less knowledge are 4,378 times more at risk of having bad behavior. COVID- 19 vaccination is incomplete compared to respondents who have sufficient knowledge. Therefore, education and collaboration such as BEM UNSRI and the Health Office are needed to provide information evenly to all students, especially about the safety of the COVID-19 vaccine.
