Background : Undescensus Testi with another name cryptorchidism is a developmental disorder characterized by the failure of one or both testes to completely descend into the scrotum. This disorder can lead to decreased fertility rates and increase the risk of developing testicular tumors in young adults. Therefore surgery to treat this UDT is very significant. Pain is a nursing problem that is often encountered in postoperative pediatric patients. Objective: describes the implementation of nursing care in post-UDT (Undescensus testis) children based on evidence-based learning. Methods: Qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach on three pediatric patients with UDT (Undescensus Testis). Results: The three postoperative UDT children had complaints of pain, risk of infection, and constipation. The main nursing problem experienced by the three children was acute pain. In addition, children also experience anxiety and nausea. So that the main intervention that can be given is pain management starting from observing the characteristics of pain, observing non-verbal pain responses to carrying out non-pharmacological therapeutic actions with audio-visual distraction, educating patients and families about pain management independently and collaborating with analgesics. Conclusion: the provision of non-pharmacological therapy with audio-visual distraction techniques carried out for 15-20 minutes at each meeting by displaying interesting cartoon educational shows can reduce pain by diverting the client's attention. Keywords : UDT (undescended testis), postoperative, acute pain, audio visual.
