HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN TENTANG COVID-19 DENGAN TINGKAT KECEMASAN PADA MASYARAKAT DI DESA TRIMO REJO.
Anxiety is an emotional condition of uneasiness, uncertainty, and fear with unclear stimuli and physiological changes. Excessive anxiety can cause mental health problems such as stress and depression, if not treated immediately. This study was aimed at determining the relationship between knowledge of covid-19 and the level of anxiety in the Trimo Rejo village community. It is a cross-sectional correlational study the population of which is the Trimo Rejo village community with a sample of 92 respondents. The samples were chosen using proportional random sampling. The data were collected using a questionnaire. The results showed that 58 (63%) respondents showed a sufficient level of knowledge about covid-19. Furthermore, most people 46 (50%) experienced a moderate level of anxiety. Based on the results of the bivariate analysis with the chi-square test, it was indicated that there was a significant relationship between knowledge of covid-19 and the level of anxiety in the Trimo Rejo village community (p-value = 0.002, with a probability value > 0.05). The public needs to deepen their knowledge related to Covid-19 from valid sources. In addition, health workers are expected to improve their services in the management of anxiety during the pandemic
