The purpose of this study was to determine the role of interpersonal trust on forgiveness in early adults dating who was cheated on. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a role between interpersonal trust and forgiveness in early adults dating who was cheated on. Participants in this study were 111 early adults. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The forgiveness variable was measured using a forgiveness scale compiled by researchers based on the dimensions of Thompson, Snyder, Hoffman, Michael, Heather, Billings, Heinze, Neufeld, Shorey, Roberts, and Roberts (2005). To measure the interpersonal trust variable, the interpersonal trust scale was used which was compiled by the researcher based on the dimensions of Zhang (2021). Data analysis was carried out using simple regression analysis techniques.
