PENGARUH KETEBALAN BAHAN TERHADAP KEKERASAN PERMUKAAN RESIN KOMPOSIT NANOFIL
Nanofilled resin composite as a direct restorative material with excellent mechanical and aesthetic properties can be used for both anterior and posterior restoration. One of factors of restoration longevity is surface hardness. Restoration thickness is one of factors affecting polymerization light cured composite. The aim of this research was to evaluate the influence of restoration thickness to bottom surface hardness nanofdled resin composite. This research used 18 samples and devided into 3 group thickness that is Imm, 2mm and 3mm with each group 6 samples. After the sample of nanofilled resin composite was removedfrom its plastic spherical moulds measuring 5mm in diameter, it was stored in destilled water at 37 °Cfor 24 hour. The bottom surface hardness of nanofilled resin composite in each sample was measured by a Micro Vickers Hardness Tester using a 50 g load and dwell time of 30 s. Result of this research is bottom VHN for group sample with Imm thickness is 9,44 ± 0,33 ,with 2mm thickness is 8,81 ± 0,29 and 3mm thickness is 6,53 ± 0,20.
