HUBUNGAN POLA MAKAN REMAJA PUTRI TERHADAP PREMENSTRUAL SYNDROME (PMS) DI PONDOK PESANTREN AR-RISALAH KOTA LUBUKLINGGAU
Eating patterns, knowledge and attitudes that are not good will cause Premnestrual syndrome in young women. Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) is a collection of physical symptoms causing emotional and behavioral that occurs during the luteal phase of each menstrual cycle and will disappear quickly within the cycle 7-14 days after menstrual blood comes out. The world prevalence of premenstrual syndrome (PMS) is quite high from women of childbearing age, almost 75% of the world who experience premenstrual syndrome (PMS). The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between diet, knowledge, and attitudes of young women towards Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) at the Ar�Risalah Islamic Boarding School in Lubuklinggau City. This study used an analytical research design with a cross sectional approach. This study uses an analytical research design with a cross sectional approach. Data processing used statistical software program and analyzed univariate and bivariate data with Chi�Square test. The sample is 72 people with multistage sampling technique. The results of the bivariate analysis stated that there was no relationship between diet and premnestrual syndrome (p-value 1,000). There is no relationship between knowledge of premenstrual syndrome in adolescent girls (P-value 0.381). And there is no relationship between attitudes towards premenstrual syndrome (p-value 0.088). Adolescent girls are expected to maintain a good diet on a daily basis and further increase knowledge, good attitudes about PMS to avoid the occurrence of Premenstrual syndrome
