HUBUNGAN ANTARA SPIRITUALITAS DAN KESEJAHTERAAN PSIKOLOGIS PADA IBU YANG MEMILIKI ANAK BERKEBUTUHAN KHUSUS

This study aims to find out if there is a spirituality with psychological well-being in mother who have children with special needs. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a relationship between spirituality and psychological well-being. Participants in this study were 100 mother who have children with special needs. Sampling is done using purposive sampling techniques. The measuring instrument used is the psychological well-being scale which refers to the dimensions put forward by Ryff (1989). The researcher modified the spirituality scale from Underwood and Teresi (2002). Hyphotesis testing was conducted using pearson’s product moment correlation analysis. The result of the correlation analysis between spirituality and psychological well-being shows the p-value = 0,033 and r = 0,213. It means that there is a significant positive relationship between spirituality and psychological well-being. Therefore hyphotesis of this study is accepted.
